This is a very gorgeous link necklace and earrings set that would make a terrific gift! This jewelry set is crafted out of genuine sterling silver and real Turquoise inlay. The necklace has a total of NINE links; each of which has inlay that is delicately set while thin silver lines can be seen accenting in between. Cut through work in the center link can be seen creating a stunning Dragonfly design. The earrings perfectly match the center link on the necklace and complete this set perfectly. Dragonflies are connected with water springtime, fertility, renewal, and considered a messenger. The set is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
