THE STORY BEHIND THE JEWELRY
Sterling silver and Turquoise.
Pendant measures approximately 1-1/2" long (including bail) and 5/8" at widest point.
There is nothing at all average about this beautiful pendant! The pendant is crafted out of genuine sterling silver, along with a real Turquoise stone, and real Turquoise inlay. The pendant has ONE stone that is delicately set in silver bezel and placed at the center of a marvelous design. The stone is beautifully accented by stunning Turquoise inlay. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines and stamped patterns can be seen accenting for a wonderful finish. The pendant is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
