MEASUREMENTS:

Ring is size 8, it measures approximately 1-1/8" long and 7/8" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Daniel Benally, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Turquoise stone. The stone is carefully placed in a hand cut bezel setting and is accented with twisted silver, mini silver beads, and hand cut silver work for a phenomenal finish. The ring is hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

My wife enjoyed the design, quality, and color of these beautiful, dangly, turquoise earrings. Like other purchases I've made through Turquoise Jewelry.com, I'm very pleased with my purchase of these as well. Biloxi Bob
