THE STORY BEHIND THE JEWELRY

MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

MEASUREMENTS:

Ring is size 8-1/2, it measures approximately 1-1/4" long and 1" wide.

DESCRIPTION:

This magnificent and traditional ring represents the finest of Navajo craftsmanship! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Harry B. Yazzie, out of genuine sterling silver. Silver beads, along with hand crafted scalloped leaf and flower designs can be seen highlighting the ring for an elegant look. The ring is stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Sterling Silver is a metal, which consists of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. Although any metal can make up the 7.5% of non-silver component, years of study have shown that copper is most compatible, while aiding the solidity and durability of the metal without harming its beautiful color. The small amount of 7.5% copper added to all silver has almost no effect on the metals overall value. Due to the durability of sterling silver it is not only used for jewelry, but household accessories as well. Silver is known to last a lifetime with the proper care.

My wife enjoyed the design, quality, and color of these beautiful, dangly, turquoise earrings. Like other purchases I've made through Turquoise Jewelry.com, I'm very pleased with my purchase of these as well. Biloxi Bob
