MEASUREMENTS:

DESCRIPTION:

This magnificent and traditional ring represents the finest of Navajo craftsmanship! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Jameson Kee, out of genuine sterling silver and a man made Blue Opal. The stone is carefully set in a hand cut bezel setting, while being highlighted by twisted silver and silver beads for a fantastic look. The ring is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
