DESCRIPTION:

This magnificent and traditional ring represents the finest of Navajo craftsmanship! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Roger Pino, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Blue Opals. The ring has a total of TWO stones that are carefully placed in hand cut bezel settings, while hand crafted silver work creates a fantastic flower and scalloped leaf design for a gorgeous finish. The ring is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
