Money clip measures approximately 2" long and 3/4" wide.
There is nothing at all average about this beautiful money clip! This piece of Native American jewelry is Hopi overlay hand crafted by artist George Phillips out of genuine sterling silver. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second layer is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this money clip, the second layer forms a marvelous Kokopelli and Corn Stalk design for an amazing look. The corn is a powerful symbol in many tribes. It is used for prayer of fertility and a good growing season. The Kokopelli is a common fertility symbol throughout the Southwest. In Native American beliefs, the Kokopelli visits various communities, seducing and impregnating the young women drawn to the tones of his flute playing. Money clip is stamped sterling and hallmarked.
