DESCRIPTION:

This is truly an outstanding pair of earrings that will make a great impression! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Steve Francisco, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opal inlay. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines and hand cut silver work accent for a fabulous look. The earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
