DESCRIPTION:

Expect plenty of compliments while wearing this stunning ring! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Jan Mariano, out of genuine sterling silver and a man made Opal. The stone is delicately set in a hand cut bezel setting, while twisted silver, mini silver beads, stamped designs, and hand cut silver work accent for an outstanding look. FOUR silver bars make up the ring and complete it to perfection! The ring is stamped sterling.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
