THE STORY BEHIND THE JEWELRY

MATERIALS:

Sterling silver and real Turquoise.

MEASUREMENTS:

Hook dangle earrings measure approximately 1-1/4" long (including hook) and 1/4" at widest point.

DESCRIPTION:

This is a very exquisite pair of earrings that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and real Turquoise beads. The earrings consist of: 2-mm silver round beads and 7-mm Turquoise rondelle beads.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

My wife enjoyed the design, quality, and color of these beautiful, dangly, turquoise earrings. Like other purchases I've made through Turquoise Jewelry.com, I'm very pleased with my purchase of these as well. Biloxi Bob
