Sterling silver and real Malachite
The inner bracelet circumference measures approximately 5-1/2", plus a 1-1/4" opening, and is 1-1/2" at widest point.
This bracelet is a true treasure! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Daniel Benally, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Malachite stone. ONE stone is carefully placed in hand cut bezel settings, while being accented by silver beads and twisted silver for an extraordinary finish. The bracelet is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.
Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. It was worn as a good luck charm to keep away danger and illness. It is believed to balance and stabilize ones emotions.
