This is a wonderful piece of Navajo artistry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Rita Montoya, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opals. A total of FIVE stones are gently set in hand cut bezel settings, while silver beads and twisted silver highlight for a fantastic look. TWO silver bars make up the cuff and complete the bracelet for a wonderful finish. The bracelet is stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
