DESCRIPTION:
Expect plenty of compliments while wearing this stunning pair of earrings! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo overlay hand crafted by artist Ralph Bia, out of genuine sterling silver. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this pair of earrings, the second layer forms an exquisite Kachina Figure and Rain Cloud design, while imprinted patterns highlight for a beautiful finish. Clouds, Rain and Lightning, in addition to representing themselves, they are also important symbols of change, renewal and fertility. Closely related is snow, which is considered even more of a blessing than rain. The earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked.
