The beautiful features in this bead necklace will make you appreciate Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand strung out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Turquoise beads, and real multicolor inlay. The necklace consists of: silver round beads that ranges from 2-mm to 10-mm and Turquoise wheel beads that beautifully graduate, allowing the largest center beads to measure 20-mm and the smallest beads at the ends to measure 7-mm. The necklace features ONE inlay bead that consists of: Turquoise, Red and Orange Oyster Shell along with White inlay. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone for an amazing finish. The cones are stamped sterling.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
